Notifications

CloudZero notifications alert you to important events and insights about your cloud costs. These notifications help in proactive cost management by informing you about anomalies, optimization opportunities, and other critical cost-related events. There are five standard types of notifications:

• Weekly Updates - Each view gets a notification every Tuesday for the prior week showing the biggest changes week over week
• Monthly Updates - Each view gets a notification at the start of the month, showing you the biggest changes month over month for the previous month. This notification typically gets delivered sometime between the 3-5 of the month (depending on when the cloud providers close the prior month).
• Anomalies - Get alerted when CloudZero detects anomalous spending. For more information on anomalies, please refer to the CloudZero documentation
• Insight Alerts - Every morning at 11am EST, CloudZero checks for new Insights and sends an alert to the global view if any are found
• Budget Alerts - When you configure a Budget for a View, you define whether you want an alert sent when you cross 80% of the monthly budget $ and/or when you cross 100%
